Qurban (sacrifice on behalf of your loved ones)

Campaign and introduction; 

Qurbani is an annual tradition for Muslims which stems from the sacrifice that Ibrahim (AS) was willing to make as a sign of his devotion to Allah (SWT). Qurbani, or the Festival of Sacrifice, sees the sacrifice of livestock animals with shares of meat being distributed evenly amongst you, your relatives and the poor. As well as pleasing Allah (SWT), Muslims give Qurbani as an act of obedience that purifies the wealth of those who make a donation.

Importance of qurban;

In a community there are two kinds of people those who can afford to take care of themselves and those who cannot .Qurban helps to put a smile on the faces of those who might even take a year without testing meat and on the other side is an act of worship to Allah alone.

Therefore you can make a sacrifice on behalf of the your family and friends to come nearer to Allah and also feed and sharing with those in need ,for example ;widows ,orphans ,disabled ,and elderly persons .

Types of animals:

A cow is at $350

A goat at $50

A sheep at $70 ,relatively here in Uganda.

Sacrifice to offer aqiqah ,

Sacrifice to feed orphans and the poor ,

Sacrifice on behalf of your child boy or girl .
